Job Summary

Join our growing team of mental health clinicians. We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is ready to work collaboratively within our diverse team of providers to achieve better outcomes for our clients. Work alongside dedicated PMHNPs, RN, other LCSWs, and an administrative and executive team like no other!

Essential Job Functions and Duties:

This role provides high-quality care to patients with mental health disorders across the lifespan, which may include but is not limited to:

  • Perform individual counseling, develop and monitor therapy programs, and help clients reach their behavioral health goals.
  • Conduct initial psychiatric assessments and follow-up psychotherapy sessions as appropriate.
  • Maintain records of treatment and services using industry-specific record-keeping software.
  • Work collaboratively within the cross-functional services provided by ND Systems.
  • Present yourself in a professional manner with others as a representative of ND System
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Technology literacy required
  • Strong documentation skills and experience navigating electronic health records
  • Experience working with Telehealth technologies preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft teams considered an asset
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong ability to manage time and prioritized tasks
  • Experience with child and youth therapy considered an asset, but not required
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Familiarity with local resources that could help individuals and families is preferred
  • Experience with Neurofeedback systems or EMDR considered an asset
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Licensed in the state of Alaska as an LCSW or LPC
  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, education or related field.
  • Specializations in Child or Youth, Family or Couples therapy considered an asset.
EXPERIENCE
  • A minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed practitioner in a clinical setting required

Compensation: Starting from 82,000 annually, based on experience
